Our Story

Aunty Maisa’s natural hair and body product journey started when it became a personal need. I have had relaxed hair since I was a teenager, and had finally made a decision to go natural, the task proved to be more difficult than expected. The hair products that were available in the market were not working for me and kept leaving my hair dry and unmanageable. I almost gave up and go back to relaxing my hair, until I remembered how my grandmother cared for my natural hair back in Africa. I remembered having healthy, thick, manageable hair where I looked forward to wash days and even more forward to that scalp massage.

I started researching and making natural hair products for myself. My concept was simple, pure natural ingredients that are safe for my hair. As a result, my hair took a turn for the best as I rediscovered my curls. Soon enough, I started making products for friends and family and got to see the changes in their hair. And now I am making it for you. I want you to love your natural hair, and look forward to wash days as much as I do.
